Road Trip! Ricky and Makayla (mostly) enjoyed sitting within reach of each other in the narrower third seat.
We drove past the smaller scale replica of the Statue of Liberty in a park near Shimoda. The children were sleeping and we were all hungry, so we snapped a photo from a distance and plan to go back to play another day.
Ricky's highlight for the day: riding in an actual Thomas train! (bottom floor of the Aeon Mall in Shimoda--unfortunately, the play area with massage chairs for waiting parents was closed)
That's a really big grin on Ricky's face!
On my way out of the mall, I spied yellow watermelon at the farmer's market stall and HAD to try it. It tastes pretty much the same as red watermelon, though not as sweet.
