Day 2 continued: We returned to our hotel to defrost before heading out again. That's bath steam on the camera lens.
Coats and stroller liner hanging up to dry. Notice there are three hanging poles perpendicular to the wall, instead of parallel.
We stayed in a westernized hotel, but it still had Japanese influence. The bathroom is more like a shower capsule.
The fancy toilet (actually a more basic edition) is pretty straightforward, but if you need an explanation, see below.
After dinner, we walked out to see the ice sculptures at the Susukino Site. Yes, those are real fish frozen into the ice.
Rick's favorite: an eagle about to snag a rabbit, "White Target."

We met up with friends and Ricky was delighted to play with the girls.
There were about three blocks of ice sculptures.
Ricky was enchanted by the kitty cat.
