Following Nana's example, we kept the tradition of "half-birthdays." The principle goes something like this: if your birthday is close to Christmas, then it's too long to wait an entire year those special days to roll around again. (I think this is just an excuse to give gifts!) Ricky is now 2 1/2 years old!
Smoothies are a special treat and a great way to sneak in egg whites, flax seed, and veggie powder.
Ricky loves his new lawn mower (thanks for the inspiration, Little Guy!). It's a good thing that it doesn't "work"--and not just for safety's sake. With the hours of use it's received so far, we wouldn't have any lawn left.
